Just did this today on my 2015 and it was no big deal. I ended up getting the bigger H8 49 size battery from walmart for more cca for $170. I ordered the smaller hold down bracket for the bigger battery from rock auto. You only need a 10mm socket for the posts and a 13mm deep socket with an extension for the bracket.

I have a 2015 Cherokee Latitude. It "was" doing the same thing. I started by getting a trickle charger and keeping my battery charged above 80% that helped.
