It gets Jaguarās four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbo āIngeniumā unit, good for 296bhp sent to the rear-wheels. No slouch, covering off 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds. The V8 cars are obviously much faster.
Off the line, the F-Type V8 S wants to run wild. Itās got tremendous acceleration, frequently surpassing Jaguarās quoted 4.2 second 0-to-60 mph rating. While I never managed to get it faster than 4.0 seconds. Other reviewers have managed times in the high 3ās.
